Data Connect succeeds when it's invisible.
Practitioners keep using their daily NMS — Famly, Tapestry, Blossom — without behavioural change. Configure your integration once, and Data Connect runs continuously in the background, feeding operational data into the Thrive Engine for analysis.
Engagement is measured by the quality of insights Engine generates from the data, not by dashboard visits.
What Data Connect does
A scoped MVP integration layer that respects your existing technology investments.
NMS adapters
OAuth or API-key adapters for Famly, Tapestry and Blossom Educational. Weekly scheduled extraction with on-demand runs.
CSV fallback
Structured CSV templates for ParentZone, Connect, Kinderly, 1st Place or no NMS at all. Line-level validation errors flagged in-app.
Canonical data model
Raw NMS data normalised into the Thrive canonical model. 24-month retention. Versioned data lake on S3.
Status dashboard
Lightweight web view: connection status, last sync time, next scheduled run, extraction errors. Practitioner read-only access.
Security & GDPR
TLS 1.2+, AWS KMS at rest, JWT auth with 24h rolling tokens, RBAC, MFA for Thrive admin, full audit trail.
No child-identifiable data
Structural exclusion — not a setting. All operational data aggregated to setting or room level; staff pseudonymised; observations counted, not contented.

Engine combines continuous operational data with on-site observational data from Thrive Senior Practitioners to produce the structured assessment report and Childhood Environment Index™ certification.
